I have never blogged. I don’t really read others’ blogs. I once maintained a LiveJournal from 2000-2006, but other than that I’m not used to publishing on the net. So here goes. I feel as though this is becoming necessary for my line of work. Social media and web 2.0 have overtaken the way trends are set in the graphic and web design world. Design and developers aren’t the same person, and designers rarely have any HCI sense, let alone know who Jakob Nielson is.

That’s where I come in. I want to be the synthesis for all. The difference between me and other designers? Well, meh, you’ll have to find that out yourself. I think it’s the scientific, rational background I was raised in. I’m sure that personal things will creep in here from time to time, but I’ll try to keep it relevant as possible.

So here’s to the blog. I hope it becomes a success. I like knowing all the people out there. And so, here is my new tradition I am starting…posting pictures of the improper and over usage of the font papyrus.
